  Bramford 5.5m

The run starts from the Bramford Picnic Site car park.  From here cross the road and run on the footpath beside the river Gipping.  At the next footbridge, cross the bridge and follow the footpath directly opposite.  When you get to the road, turn left and then right up Bullen Lane.  Care should be taken when crossing the B1113 Lorraine Way and continue up Bullen Lane.

When you reach the radio mast, take the footpath to the left across the fields and beside the woods.  It will meet a rough road and follow this to the next wooded area.  Do not turn left into the next woods (which is private land), rather turn right keeping to the edge of the woods and continue across a small field keeping in the same direction.

When you meet the rough dirt road, turn left and follow this down the hill past the cow sheds.  At the bottom, turn right down the Grindle until you come back to the B1113.  Cross the road and turn right up to Sproughton and turning left when you reach the 'Wild Man' public house.  Down the slight incline until you reach the river and once over the bridge, turn left onto the footpath by the river Gipping.  Follow the path by the river until you come back to the Bramford Picnic site and where you left your car.
