To all at Stow Striders who were involved in the organisation, marshalling, drinks, refreshments, timing, results service etc:"Well done" It was an excellent race. I liked the start and finish being close to the HQ – v important in the cooler months. All the marshals were friendly, encouraging and helpful. Also, well done for arranging perfect running weather. You all deserve a big pat on the back. Thank you all very much SR ( Ipswich Tri) |

Just a brief email to say thank
you to all involved in the impeccable organisation of
Sunday's event. My first Scenic 7 but not my last. (Smashed
my PB). A lovely course with pretty much the best
administration of any event I've taken part in. Having the
full results posted within 24hrs is just superb. Just one
thing, any chance of flattening the hill at mile 4-5 for
next year?
Many thanks Striders,
JC

Many thanks for organising the Scenic 7 - as
always well organised and well marshalled. A very enjoyable race.
A couple of comments for you:
Scenic 7 Start: I was at the back of the crowd at the 2 minutes silence (my
fault, lets not go there) - but we at the back could have done with another
minute to get ready for the start - not a big issue really.
Joe Cox: I liked the Joe Cox as a 10 mile race as it's a week before the Bungay
Marathon - but anyway I'd vote for a half marathon a week earlier in the year
(around the 18th March). Cheers

Just a note of thanks, really
enjoyed the Scenic 7 today (01.05.21) and very well
organised it was (apart from parking - nightmare!!), this
was only my second road race as I am fairly new to running.
Look forward to running in Stowmarket in the future,
unfortunately a bit far from my home to join your club, but
I will be joining Bury Pacers next Spring.
Cheers PF (aged 47)

Thank you so much for a very enjoyable run – it was fab, so was the weather! This is my first race after being seriously injured at the Loch ness Marathon in October 2005 and ending up in a wheelchair. I could not think of a better more enjoyable route to have run. The support and organisation was spot on. Well done to all of you marshals – I know what it is like to stand our there, but having said that I actually enjoy that too. BIG BIG THANKS to all concerned. Look forward to next year. Well done to all the workers. It was great. L |
