Despite the October storms the weather held out for a bright and sunny start to the Cross
Country Winter League.  This did not mean that the fields and tracks were not muddy though,
oh no, far from it.  The course leading up to the castle was a large muddy pond forcing you up
around the castles moat with an inch of mud hanging onto your feet for dear life.

This was a successful day for the Striders.  Well represented and well supported.  A few
of us managed PB's if only by default being that it was our first Cross Country race!

A second place to start us off - well done everybody!
