Perfect conditions but sadly, for the second year in a row, it was not the 
Striders night.  Split into the three categories, Ipswich JAFFA won the ladies 
race by 82 points to our 92, and the men's over 21 minutes race fairly 
convincingly by 79 points to our 133.  The Striders faired a little better on 
the men's under 21 minutes being only 7 points behind JAFFA with 109 points 
to their 102. 

The first man home was Chris Ling and for the ladies Katy Nash.  Only 22 
seconds separated the first 5 ladies home, so well done ladies!

So a deserved well done to the Ipswich JAFFA with a cup sponsored by the 
Stowmarket Striders presented by Stuart Green.  The rest of the evening was 
spent with a pint and something from the buffet whilst bantering with the 
opposition over next years results!
