I now know why they call the place Wymondham!  If it was spelt the way of the weather conditions it would be Windham! 

The course was undulating with a few muddy patches.  The open countryside meant a full head on wind no matter what the direction you were running.  The sound of the huffing and puffing of the runners was deafened by the flapping crackle of the race numbers.  On the odd occasion the wind would turn favorably by catching your race number making it act as a sail as you tacked across the countryside!

There were 113 finishers.

Unfortunately no ladies from any of the clubs qualified for the senior team prize.  This is the second week running where we have missed out - come on ladies get those race numbers on!
