5k Track Challenge

A good evening out without the usual windy track buffeting you along the back straight. This year saw the Flying Shufflers join the race for a 3 way team competition. Stowmarket Striders achieved a bronze position!

Congratulations goes to 2 worthy Striders. 1st'ly to Tammy for her Olympic performance in winning the ladies race and getting a lifetime PB for the 5k distance. Lastly (and literally), Katy gets a bravery award for running this race as her 1st race back from giving birth to our baby boy only 4 months earlier.
