   Start of the Scenic 7Stowmarket Striders Scenic 7

14th November 2004

A beautiful day for Remembrance Sunday and the Scenic 7 road race.  Well done to all the finishers especially Robin Coll and Raymond Hill who each have broken the course record in their V40 & V55 age categories.  This was also a record field of 257 finishers, making this the biggest Scenic 7 yet.

Deepest thanks goes to those who helped marshal and organise the race especially with 32 Striders running today.  A good turnout from the club all round.

ps - In answer to a common question, the camera man you saw during the race was a private cameraman experimenting with new kit.  No models required this year...
