Team (out of 13 teams)

Despite the pressure for the top of the table by Bury Pacers, the Men's A team just pipped them to 2nd place by 2 points behind Ipswich Harriers.  Striders put in a strong team seeing Richard Jordan run but sadly Chris Starmer and Chris Ling were both injured.  The Men's B team held there own in 8th.

The Ladies team were so narrowly pushed into 3rd place on the day with Ipswich Harriers and Newmarket just getting 2 and 1 point more than Striders respectively.  The Ladies B team also held 8th on the day.

The Striders A team overall held onto 2nd behind Ipswich Harriers by 17 points and adding a further 60 points over St Edmund Pacers in 3rd spot.  Each of the top 3 A teams scored over 1000 points.  The B team secured 8th on the day.

After 3 events, the Men's A team hold onto 2nd place just 26 points behind Ipswich Harriers in 1st.  Men's B hold onto 8th.  The Ladies A team pushed through to 1st place by just 3 points ahead of Ipswich Harriers after St Edmund Pacers had poor showing on the day.  Ladies B fell 1 place to 9th.

This means that the A team retains 2nd place overall slipping 17 points to 23 points behind the leaders Ipswich Harriers.  St Edmund Pacers are in 3rd place with 127 points behind the Striders.

There are 2 races left, Haughley Park and Nowton park and every runner is encouraged to help the Striders current top form.  Every runner does count and help the overall team.
