Bildeston 1

Sunday - Bildeston half-marathon - a wonderful, heart-warming "you've got to be in it to win it" story. Kate & I used it as a training run with chum Ronel from Striders. We sat around afterwards chatting until, as the chairs started being stacked up, we decided we might as well go. Whereupon Ronel was told she ought to wait a little bit longer.

Turns out there was still another Strider lady out on the course. I've no idea what time she did but it must have been approaching three hours for the half.

But, although she came last (I think), she finished - and in the process made Striders the only qualifying, and hence the winning, ladies team!
