On a bright frosty Sunday nearly 700+ runners set off on the 20K East Run 2008.

A gentle climb in the first 2k lead to a very scenic, mildly undulating but not too challenging route around the Suffolk countryside.

As you will see from the prize list Striders came home with three trophies.

 

Tamara not only won the ladies race but also broke the ladies course record which stood at 79 min 38 sec, with a time of 77min. 22.sec

 

Mary Narey picked up 1^st Vet 40 with her debut run at that distance and Haley got second V40 place.
