Pre-race entries are now closed. Entries on the night will be accepted until the race is full. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to register.

UKA Affiliated entry £7.00. Non-Affiliated entry £9.00 plus £1.00 for entries on the day.

Junior Race

There are two Junior races (Mum & Dad can run too to support their Juniors):

• Fun run 1 is a small loop near the start area for the under 8 years old.
• Race 2 is a section of the main race course, apporoximately 1 mile in length for 8 years and over.

A momento for all particpants and trophies are awarded to winners of Race 2.

Entry fee is £2.00. Entries can be made on the day.

The race headquarters and start is at Haughley Park, near Stowmarket.

Following the re-alignment of the Haughley Bends on the A14, access to Haughley Park from the A14 west-bound from Ipswich has changed:

• Leave the A14 at Junction 49 (Signposted Stowmarket A1308, Haughley & Wetherden).
• At the roundabout at the top of the slip road turn right over the A14 and at the next roundabout take the first exit signposted to Haughley, Wetherden and Haughley Park.
• Stay on this road (the old A14), past the Little Chef and Haughley New Street, for 2.5 miles. Haughley Park is signposted on the left.

Travel Directions from Bury St Edmunds

• Travel on the A14 towards Ipswich.
• After the junction with the A1088 to Ixworth, take the next junction signposted Haughley & Wetherden.
• Follow this road straight through and Haughley Park will be about 1/2 mile on your right.

Please follow the marshalls instructions on where to park.

Facilities

The Race

The Red Cross will be present for those requiring medical attention. If you see anyone in distress during the race, please advise a race marshal as soon as possible to call for medical assistance.

A copy of the risk assessment will be available on the race notice board.

Results

We will endeavour to display as many of the results as possible on the race notice board as competitors complete the race, and after the race.

Full results will be available from this website (www.stowmarketstriders.org.uk) in the week following the race.
